Recently I purchased Idea 3G Net Setter i.e 3G usb modem for Internet access.Before purchasing idea netsetter,I was accessing Internet through my mobile connected to laptop with Docomo connection but it was an edge service and wanted more speed so that I can access web pages with high speed.So I decided to buy Idea netsetter,so here is something about my usb modem.Idea 3G Netsetter comes in three types a)3.6 mbps,b)7.1 mbps & c) 21 mbps. Mine is 3.6 mbps which comes for price of Rs 1400/- only for postpaid connection and prepaid price goes for Rs 2000/- with frc of Rs 499.Talking about its feature which are as below.One more thing about Idea 3G NetSetter is that when one sim is put then that sim is locked for particular device,that means if you try to put another sim into your modem the device will get blocked.
Talking about my experience with Idea 3G NetSetter,after using for first time I received 3G speed for very little time and most of time I was getting 2G speed i.e EDGE speed instead of WCDMA then I contact to customer care lodge complaint against low speed which I was getting,thanks to customer care representative who solve my problem and now I am getting fast speed where I can now watch YouTube videos without buffering.
So overall my rating for Idea 3G NetSetter is 3.5 out of 5.
